Why this role is important to us
The Specialized Finance team, a subset of Group Finance, includes three dedicated professionals managing treasury, tax, and transfer pricing, along with other specialized tasks. Located at our headquarters, Group Finance consists of 35 skilled members.
In this vital role, you will adopt a proactive approach to managing tax reporting and transfer pricing. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Specialized Finance, your primary responsibility will be overseeing comprehensive tax operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency across all SimCorp entities.

What you will be responsible for

  • Annual and Quarterly Tax Reporting: Consolidated tax reporting for all SimCorp entities in compliance with IFRS standards to our parent company Deutsche Börse.
  • Tax Calculations: Automate tax calculations and enhance reporting packages to improve accuracy and efficiency. Supervise tax computations and ensure compliance.
  • Income Tax Oversight: Direct the control of corporate income taxes for all SimCorp entities, ensuring compliance with current tax legislation.
  • Risk Management: Monitor tax risks and manage developments in uncertain tax positions across the SimCorp entities.
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns for Danish entities and collaborate with the transfer pricing specialist to ensure that transfer pricing documentation is in compliance.
  • Collaboration and Advisory: Work closely with Group Finance, subsidiary finance teams, external tax advisors, and tax authorities to provide expert advice.

What we value (our requirements)

  • Experience and Education: A robust background in corporate finance or a similar role with tax responsibilities, ideally within a multinational corporation or as an auditor. A relevant degree such as Cand. merc. aud., Cand. merc. jur., or similar, with at least 5 years of experience in a Danish multinational corporation or equivalent.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate income taxes, both Danish and international.
  • Proficiency in tax accounting and reporting under IFRS.
  • Strong analytical skills and business judgment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Experience in managing international business activities.
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing, VAT, and WHT is advantageous.
