Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing and machine operation
- High school diploma or equivalent minimally required
- Demonstrated PC literacy including Microsoft Office
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, including technical and scientific language
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities:
- Educate, train, and coach employees in the safe and correct performance of duties within assigned operations value stream.
- Track and plan execution of training on manufacturing floor.
- Perform onboarding and training of new colleagues.
- Partner with training team to coordinate and communicate training activities and projects.
- Ensure the safe and proper performance of procedures associated with manufacturing.
- Meet production goals by efficiently delegating tasks and providing job direction.
- Assist production associates with quality assurance questions and concerns.
- Create and maintain a safe work environment by engaging the associates in reporting potential safety hazards, support of the EH&S guidelines, and continual emphasis on safe work habits and working conditions.
- Perform regular Gemba walks and use results to develop training and coaching opportunities.
- Use visual management to track, monitor, and analyze production performance indicators, establish triggers, and ensure sustainable corrective actions are in place to improve quality, reduce waste, and improve efficiencies.
- Provide input for performance evaluations. Support supervisor in daily activities when required. Notify supervisor of personnel problems as they arise.
- As needed, operate machinery; troubleshoot equipment issues; escalate issues through appropriate channels; and complete production paperwork.
