    Are you a experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to take up a pivotal role in a dynamic and friendly Veterinary Practice where you will have the change to shape the standards within the practice and putting your stamp on how care for your patients is provided.
    We are working on an unmissable opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team in Bristol. This vacancy is with a well-established practice where some of the colleagues have worked since its doors opened!
    The practice is independently run and supported by a fantastic team, who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community and through this they have enabled a real “proud to be part of the team” work ethos.
    You will be expected to mentor junior vets ensuring they feel supported and help them gain the experience and confidence they need.
    They are fortunate to have a very varied case load and due to having support from Referral Vets you can also gain experience from Orthopaedic Vets and Advanced soft tissue Surgeons. CPD and achieving career goals are a priority within the practice, with regular opportunity to discuss and support across any Certificates that will help shape your own career journey.
    They are an Approved Veterinary Nurse Training Practice, RCVS accredited; and proud to be a Silver Cat Friendly Clinic (ISFM) and a Rabbit Friendly Practice (RWAF) evidencing their commitment to clinical excellence. It is fully equipped with a digital X-ray, an ultrasound machine with cardiac probes and ECG, an inhouse lab, oxygen chamber and blood pressor monitors.
    Bristol is a superb location, they have great transport links and only 15 mins from a international airport.
    This is a full-time role and will be for 37.5 hours per week inclusive of weekends, weekends will be worked on a 1:5 basis. There is no OOH’s. If you are looking at a more flexible working arrangement please get in touch as we will be happy to discuss this.
