EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or other relevant field plus five (5) to seven (7) years’ recent, related experience including experience in areas such as process improvement, modeling, and reengineering in a clinical setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the use of process improvement tools and methodologies.
- Recognized process improvement certification and experience preferred. Experience in leading continuous process improvement and process re-design projects.
- Current registration with a recognized professional association is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of change management, project management and communication key principles and best practices to develop and oversee change initiatives. Applies change management methodologies in the design and development of various programs, frameworks and tools.
- Strong project management, prioritization and planning skills in designing and re-designing strategic clinical transformation and process improvement
- Demonstrated excellent business skills in the effective management of resources.
- Knowledge of current change management practices and trends and understanding of key issues associated with healthcare operations and service delivery. Possesses accurate health environment and political awareness.
- Knowledge of health care disciplines and their role in health care.
- Extensive experience with the facilitation of interdisciplinary groups.
- Knowledge of business analysis and project management methodologies.
- Ability to negotiate and influence key personnel across multiple organizational areas and geographies, while influencing positive change through awareness, understanding, acceptance and engagement.
- Well-developed communications and interpersonal skills including ability to facilitate work groups and present project findings and results.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with standard desktop applications and Internet tools.
