LEARN TO SWIM INSTRUCTOR | WEST WAVE POOL AND LEISURE CENTRE

Here at Auckland Council, our leisure centres play a key role in achieving our goal of making Auckland the most active city in the world. And right now, we’re looking for Learn to Swim Instructors to join our Pool and Leisure Centre team at West Wave to help achieve that goal!
This is a fantastic job where you don’t need any formal qualifications or experience to apply – just a passion to work with our diverse community while also making a difference! We’ll provide the training you need to succeed in the role.

Day-to-day you could expect to work on:

• Teaching people the basic principles of how to swim (we’ll teach you how to do this!)
• Maintaining a fun, caring and safe environment for customers and visitors
• Being part of an amazing team serving your local community

We have four permanent part-time varies from 8 hours to 16 hours available at our centre. You will need to be available after school hours, weekdays, and weekends.
