Description:

We are looking for a creative and organised Learning & Development Administrator to join our dedicated Learning Development & Innovation Department. This is an apprenticeship role.
The Learning and Development Administrator is an integral part of the Learning and Development Team, and will support the team to provide a coordinated, cross-college delivery of all Learning and Development activity. The role will support the delivery of robust people development processes that are cost effective and provide the very best learning outcomes.
This role would particularly suit an HR Assistant or Administrator looking to specialise in Learning & Development.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale
  • GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English or be prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of administrative work in a high pressure, fast paced environment, preferably People Services environment,
  • Experience of a varied workload.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, design and delivery of training programs.
  • Collaborate with team members to create engaging and interactive learning & comms materials.
  • Support the team with all pre-training activities.
  • Assist the business in monitoring customer satisfaction of all training types e- learning, classroom, and in-house courses.
  • Making course improvement suggestions to the management team for implementation
  • Support the college with the annual regulation upgrades to courses in line with education legislation
  • Communicate with college employees over Teams and email
  • Update intranet pages and utilise social media to promote and raise awareness of learning activities
  • Provide administrative support, such as scheduling and organizing all aspects of training.
  • Monitor training expiry dates and ensure that existing employees re-book their training prior to their expiry date.
  • Compiling reports on training data to be presented to Senior Leadership
  • Help the company to document our processes for different aspects of the business.
