The Role:
As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will assist the building of effective development solutions to support their employees’ growth. You will have the opportunity to utilize various formats such as workshops, eLearning, and other methods. Your primary focus will be on transforming the delivery service role inductions, aiming to enhance time-to-competency and enable new employees to get started super quickly.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partner with the business to identify development needs and align them with strategic goals.
  • Design and develop engaging and impactful learning solutions that align with their learning approach.
  • Oversee and enhance induction programs to ensure they meet the needs of the business and set employees up for success.
  • Develop and maintain career pathways that provide employees with meaningful development opportunities.
  • Ensure support initiatives effectively meet their intended goals.
  • Administer the learning management system (LMS) and perform associated tasks.
  • Conduct research and experimentation to discover new, innovative ways of learning.
  • Undertake learning administration duties as required.

Competencies:

  • Multiple years demonstrated experience in Learning and Development role
  • Articulate 360 experience
  • Experience in LMS management and interaction
  • Experience successfully managing learning and development projects
  • Previous experience in financial services

Prior Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage competing priorities and produce high-quality outputs efficiently.
  • Able to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining focus and a sense of humour.
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for collaboration and innovation.
  • Experienced in collaborating effectively with subject matter experts to create innovative learning solutions.
