We are looking for a Learning & Talent Specialist on our People Resource Team to design, implement and evaluate professional and organizational development programs that strengthen individual and organizational capabilities to execute our strategic business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree in Training, Human Resources or related field and 5-8 years related
experience
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Strong instructional design experience
Talent assessment certifications highly preferred
Proficient with PC using Word for Windows, PowerPoint, Excel & Access
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced level of organizational skills
Excellent leadership abilities

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Design, implement and measure highly interactive Leadership Development solutions
  • Facilitate learning events (both virtual and in-person) with passion and energy
  • Utilize various technologies to reach our team members (we use Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Articulate Rise etc.)

    This position will office full-time from our company headquarters in Appleton, WI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and deploys company’s employee and leadership development strategy, programs, methodologies, and tools to meet current and future business needs.
Designs, develops and facilitates leadership development and other customized US Venture programs. Coaches and develops internal leaders as teachers.
Establishes and maintains company’s open enrollment curriculum, aligning offerings to our company’s business strategies and initiatives, core competencies and enterprise employee and leadership development needs.
Partners with business leaders and HR colleagues to assess and identify performance needs. Uses a performance consulting approach to identify root cause(s) and recommends effective learning or talent-based solutions, when appropriate.
Recommends and influences alternative solutions when learning is not the appropriate intervention.
Manages vendor relationships including contracts, pricing and service definition/quality. Ensures adherence to vendor requirements e.g. intellectual property standards.
Facilitates classroom training, meetings, conferences and workshops as needed.
Designs and develops communication (i.e. newsletter, team member meetings, internal display media, etc.) to promote learning and talent offerings
Maintains team member training records through appropriate database program
Participates in and documents procedures for the Talent Management team
Administers and coordinates system support related to training activities such as course entry, participant enrollment, and course closeout
Monitors and provides completion updates related to Talent Management activity deadlines
Administers and maintains the internal training webpage which includes ensuring the most up to date and accurate data is stored on the site
