LEARNING CONSULTANT – BRISTOL

This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol. We’re committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires three days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week. Please note that during the delivery of training to internal staff daily office attendance will be required for the duration of the course.

Responsibilities:

A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

Learning Consultants are responsible for executing on the four core work processes; Learning Needs Analysis, Design, Delivery and Evaluation. In partnership with business stakeholders, and with support from Managers and/or Project Managers, our Learning Consultants implement the design, development, deployment, and evaluation of performance solutions for the global business unit they are supporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engage and partner with our business stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify current and needed skills for employees to perform successfully in their role
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of the learning and performance support solution
  • Work with the rest of the team to ensure our current learning and performance solutions remain relevant and continue to help our people be successful
  • Facilitate in-class or virtual workshops, ensuring we provide an engaging and inclusive environment
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the performance support solution

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

As you’ve probably gathered by now, we are looking for someone with a real passion for learning and an eagerness to share that passion with others. Our Learning Consultants must be practised facilitators, able to deliver operational and technical training to employees in a predominantly virtual environment.

  • Other key skills required for the role include:
  • Experience with virtual training delivery and design
  • Knowledge of best practices in learning and development, including familiarity of facilitating systems training in a virtual environment
  • Fluency in use of virtual working/training tools
  • Aware of and adapts to cultural differences
  • Able to manage time and priorities well
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Professional training qualification would be desirable
