ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Drakes Supermarkets Registered Training Organisation is currently seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator who will be responsible for the developing both accredited and non-accredited training and assessment resources.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail
  • SIR40316 Certificate IV in Retail Management
  • SIR50116 Diploma in Retail Leadership
    (Or the willingness to obtain for the right candidate)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of Vocational Education and Training Legislation, Regulatory and Training Industry Standards
  • Ability to deliver training sessions confidently and enthusiastically either via one-on-one, to large groups or virtually
  • High level prioritisation, organisational and time management skills which results in the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills and people skills with strong internal and external customer stakeholder focus.
  • Ability to influence others, build rapport and make positive change.
  • Ability to cope with changing work demands and a fast-changing environment.
  • Retail experience is desired, but not essential

Essential Qualifications:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessmen

Responsibilities:

WORKING AS A PART OF OUR HR/TRAINING TEAM AND BASED OUT OF OUR ROCHEDALE HEAD OFFICE STORE IN QLD, THIS POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • The delivery of national accredited training to our internal team members
  • Undertaking assessment to ensure Nationally Accredited Training is completed in line with the Australian Quality Training Framework standards and organisational requirements
  • Oversee our Certificate III in Retail trainees, including our school-based trainees
  • This use and function of our learning management system (VETtrak) and training contracts/administration for government related schemes

Essential Qualifications:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

OR hold a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
