ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Learning & Development Manager. Beyond that, we’d love to see:

  • Experience equivalent to CIPD level 5 in L&D
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective learning programs
  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and HRIS platforms
  • Experience in designing, creating and implementing L&D strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering high volume training
  • Experience of dealing with external training providers, including Universities, apprenticeships and utilising the Apprenticeship Levy is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Learning & Development Manager to join our People team and help us continue to support the growth and development of our employees. The remit and focus of the role is to play a crucial role in helping individuals enhance their skills and knowledge. You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify training needs, develop learning objectives, and design effective training programs, both digital and in-person.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with wider company goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of engaging curriculum of training including elearning.
  • Implement various learning methods company wide (e.g. coaching, mentoring, job-shadowing, online training)
  • Deliver and coordinate a curriculum of e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  • Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Track budgets and negotiate contracts
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development to enhance the quality and relevance of training programs.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, external vendors, and training partners to leverage resources and expertise for training delivery.
  • Implement and manage a learning management system (LMS) and other training platforms to ensure seamless delivery and tracking of training activities.
