Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Talent Development Manager plays a pivotal role in the coordination, development and delivery of effective Talent Development programs and organisational development initiatives for UniLodge Group Australia and New Zealand.

You will lead a team of 2 direct reports and will provide mentorship, to support the growth and development of their individual skills, capability, and career goals. This role comes with a high level of autonomy and responsibility and will need to deliver a consistent, accurate and high-quality service. It will be essential to build and maintain strong relationships, partnering with the Executive, Head Office and Property Teams to deliver on learning solutions and outcomes. Some of your key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Lead and motivate the Talent Development Team, providing ongoing training and development to ensure team members can reach their potential.
  • Provide ongoing coaching of all direct reports, with regular feedback and discussion throughout the year.
  • Undertake project work as directed.
  • Identify learning needs in accordance with the organisation’s strategic and operational plans.
  • Effectively communicate the Talent Development Strategy for the organisation and provide an annual learning plan that supports this strategy.
  • Ensure the development and coordination of compliance and skills-based training modules as per the annual Compliance Training Calendar, and as per statutory requirements
  • Implementation of the Reward & Recognition Program.
  • Maintain the Mental Health & Wellbeing Program for our employees.
  • Facilitation of courses in Australia and New Zealand, including travel as required.
  • Development and implementation of Policies and Procedures as required.
  • Undertake HR audits and per statutory requirements.
  • Explore and provide advice on new learning opportunities for UniLodge.
