REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

Working Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience of which at least 5 years as a leadership capacity in leading MNC. Experience in organization and talent development, HR strategy development and Learning management are highly preferred

Technical & Professional Knowledge

  • Stakeholder management experience with the strong ability to manage complexity and maintain working relationships.
  • High level of communication skills, target and result orientation and interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with colleagues across cultures and regions
  • Experience working with senior management and the ability to operate and influence in a matrix environment
  • Strong customer focus with drive to deliver an excellent employee experience at all times
  • Demonstrated people management skills, ability to lead and develop diverse teams High self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to drive change, particularly in the areas of new policy/program implementation and operational excellence project.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Talent Development function

  • Formulate the strategic framework for Learning & Development function in Asia Pacific region and steer its implementation in Asia Pacific.
  • Lead the Asia Pacific team to manage Learning & Development services and develop customized solutions to support the organization’s growth in the region.
  • Review and enhance the operating model of Learning & Development function in the region and improve its efficiency.
  • Lead the Regional Talent Development Community to steer overall direction, share best practices, form a support network and support the roll out of regional initiatives in Asia Pacific.

Lead and manage Talent Development in Asia Pacific

  • Develop the talent development concept for Asia Pacific and drive the roll out of key talent development initiative in the region.
  • Steer the pipeline development for senior leadership positions in the region and facilitate targeted succession planning cross unit/country in the region.
  • Promote BASF Leadership Values.
  • Support the implementation of COH initiatives in Asia Pacific.
