The Learning & Development Specialist will play a pivotal role within the People Operations team, serving as a dedicated resource and subject matter expert in Learning & Development (L&D). In this position, you’ll contribute to fostering a culture of continuous employee growth and development at Emburse. Working closely with senior leadership, management, and the People Operations team, you’ll identify and implement opportunities for employee development across various functions, organizational levels, and geographic locations. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and delivering internal educational programs tailored to Emburse’s needs, as well as sourcing and evaluating external learning opportunities for our employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with external curriculum providers to assist in the development of curated learning paths
  • Provide support in the creation of training materials and resources for employees at all levels
  • Conduct needs analysis to identify gaps in employee skills and propose solutions
  • Support data collection efforts to understand employee challenges, training effectiveness, and performance, collaborating with management and HR Operations
  • Collaborate with the HR Operations team to ensure curriculum inclusivity and alignment with D&I initiatives
  • Evaluate training programs, gather feedback, and contribute to program enhancement strategies
  • Develop learning materials for group training and independent learning initiatives
  • Manage external education policies and applications, tracking employee participation and success rates
  • Provide leadership with statistics and participation analytics
  • Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as required
