JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, Customer Experience, the Manager of Learning will be responsible for managing all learning functions for PTS across Canada. This role creates positive customer experiences by building and leading a highly knowledgeable team of experts who understand the product and services that are best suited to help gain market share and retain customers, through our various forms of learning deliverables.
The focus of this role is to deliver training and on-site solutions that drive PTS revenue. This role will oversee the building and delivery of training solutions to improve customer satisfaction, engagement and improve retention, from eLearning to webinars and other learning initiatives.

SECTION C - POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Pharmacy, Product Management, Learning or Health Information Science
  • 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years’ supervisory experience
  • Results-oriented, highly motivated to strive for customer excellence.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership and client relationship skills; ability to build rapport and business relationships at various levels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to effectively communicate with diverse audiences
  • Critical thinker able to assess business problems and determine appropriate training solutions
  • Ability to manage a remote and dynamic team
  • Ability to manage long-range projects while maintaining deadlines and staying within budget.
  • Strong team player, collaborative leadership style and superior presentation skills.
  • Experience with business case proposals and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and agile Kanban or SCRUM development methodology.
  • Must be proactive and have a high level of initiative, decisiveness; ability to take decisive ownership of difficult business problems.
  • Able to work in a complex, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong familiarity with healthcare domain and pharmacy software offerings preferred
  • Familiarity with McKesson pharmacy software-related product offerings is desired.
  • Travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

SECTION B - GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure adherence to security and privacy policies related to PHI or PI
  • Maintain Learning Policies and Procedures to ensure standard operations are followed
  • Manage multiple projects at a time, prioritize workloads to maximize deliverables.
  • Conduct monthly team meetings, weekly Agile Stand ups and regular business reviews
  • Coach and mentor the learning team to maximize employee engagement and development potential
  • Actively contribute to improving PTS Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Support the various retention programs to retain market share, as required
  • Manage performance evaluations of direct reports including Quarterly Check-ins
  • Contribute to strategic plans and stay current with evolving business needs
  • Work in partnership with other members of McKesson Canada while providing quality service, an excellent customer experience and attention to detail
  • Responsible for providing subject matter expertise (SME) to other PTS Teams.
  • Demonstrate decision making authority and build internal and external relationships
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support McKesson Canada.
