WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for a Learning Operations Manager to join our Learning Solutions Team .
The Learning Operations Manager holds a senior leadership position within the Learning Team, tasked with overseeing the Learning Operations team. This role demands a seasoned professional with a profound comprehension of modern learning methodologies, adept team management skills, systemic thinking capabilities, and proficiency in measuring learning impact effectively. The Learning Operations Manager assumes a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction of the team and ensuring the successful execution of learning initiatives. The role can be based in most GHD office locations throughout Canada and the US. GHD supports a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the Learning Operations team, providing strategic direction and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Oversee the learning experience, compliance, and events teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with the Learning Solutions team.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Learning Leader to formulate and execute the strategic vision for the Learning Operations team.
  • Align team objectives with overall organizational learning strategies, delivering innovative learning solutions to meet evolving business needs. Stay updated on modern learning methodologies and industry best practices, integrating them into the design and delivery of learning solutions.
  • Develop processes and systems to support workflow learning design.
  • Lead skills-based capability models development and associated learning solution design approaches.
  • Offer guidance on the adoption and integration of cutting-edge learning technologies to enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Apply systemic thinking to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the Learning Operations team and the broader Learning Team and People Team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly the Learning Solutions and broader Talent Team, to ensure seamless integration of learning initiatives into organizational process.
  • Develop and implement robust measurement frameworks to evaluate the impact of learning initiatives on individual and organizational performance.
  • Analyze data and feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance the overall effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate learning sessions, workshops, and programs as necessary, demonstrating effective facilitation skills to develop the Learning Team and support broader business learning objectives.
  • Serve as a role model for continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
