About the role
We are currently looking for a Learning Specialist to join the team, where you’ll be responsible for the analysis, coordination, implementation and evaluation of learning initiatives for Operational supervisors, leaders and team within the Victoria and Tasmania region and across Australia as required.
You will coach and develop supervisors and leaders on best practice leadership, aligned with Bunnings’ Leadership Model and Competency Framework. You will deliver a suite of in-house offers and leverage digital platforms to grow the capability of leaders and supervisors. You will also collaborate with our People & Culture Partners and Senior Managers to implement Operations-specific learning interventions, aligned with our business strategic objectives.
Please note, you will be required to work from various sites and some regional and interstate travel will also be required. You will need to work flexible hours to suit the needs of your stakeholders, this may include occasional evening and weekend work.

What’s involved:

  • Delivery of designated operational specific learning programs for supervisors and leaders, learning academy experiences and learning activities associated with new store openings
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess performance gaps and learning needs for supervisors and leaders
  • Evaluate operations-specific learning delivery in the region and provide feedback to the Learning Delivery Lead and the Learning Design team to improve quality and impact of learning interventions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess outcomes and make recommendations to continuously improve

Who we’re looking for
Our ideal candidate will come from a Learning and Development background. You’ll be a passionate self-starter with a customer centric approach and the ability to inspire positive change in your stakeholder groups. You’ll have strong communication skills, being able to facilitate and deliver learning programs via face to face as well as virtual platforms.

You’ll need:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or relevant higher qualification in Adult Education) is advantageous and a Diploma of Leadership and Management is desirable
  • Strong experience and knowledge in leading individuals and teams
  • A passion for developing and growing people
  • Strong facilitation skills through face-to-face and virtual platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining sound relationships, both internally and externally
  • A growth mindset and someone who can positively influence change
  • Digital data literacy to analyse performance and learning gaps
  • Strong planning and organisation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
