Description:
EMPLOYEE EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Support the development and delivery of training programs or informational sessions for employees and managers on leave of absence policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and training, automation, or streamlining of leave administration tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources related field or equivalent training and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of employee experience in a HR related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leave administration.
- Ability to travel 10%.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Working knowledge of Medicare, SSDI, rehabilitation, disability, medical and workers’ compensation benefits.
- Understanding of HR policies and practices, with expertise in leave administration.
- Ability to provide education and communication on employee benefit plans.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and anticipate program needs, convey appropriate options, and make recommendations for implementation.
- Bilingual capability.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professional standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and/or tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems with the ability to train others.
