Responsibilities:
Acknowledge Education is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Lecturer to join our team for the Graduate Certificate of Health and Community program. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in behavioural and social sciences, looking to make a significant impact on students’ educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver high-quality lectures and engaging tutorials for the four core units:
- GCIND801 Foundations of Psychology
- GCIND802 Grief, Loss and Trauma Across the Lifespan
- GCSOC801 Foundations of Sociology and Politics
- GCSOC802 Welfare Systems and Services in Australia
- Conduct four small group tutorials each week, fostering an interactive and supportive learning environment.
- Develop and update course materials to ensure content is current and relevant.
- Assess student assignments and exams, providing constructive feedback with a small marking load.
- Support students’ academic progress and career aspirations through guidance and mentorship.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities to enhance teaching and course content.
