Description:

We are currently seeking a driven individual who has a passion for delivering motivating and inspiring teaching and learning.
Joining us on a permanent basis, you will be expected to achieve outstanding outcomes for students using a variety of teaching and learning strategies, and be expected to provide individual and tailored support that fully prepares students for assessment.
You must have an appropriate subject related qualification and a teaching qualification is preferred. However, we offer opportunities for highly, knowledgeable and experienced people to move into a Further Education and skills setting and will provide access to funded and supported Teacher training.
Walsall College take part in the Taking Teaching Further (TTF) programme which is a Department for Education initiative to attract experienced industry and business professionals into roles within further education. The Department for Education (DfE) is piloting a new financial incentive of a non-consolidated £6000 payment, split as £3000 at the end of the first year of the programme and £3000 at the end of the second year of the programme, for TTF recruits who are recruited to teach in some of the most hard-to-fill subject. This post may be eligible for this incentive subject to meeting programme eligibility.
