The Department of International Public Health is seeking a Lecturer with expertise in global health, and/or any relevant field to work on research and teaching on forced displacement and refugee health. The successful candidate could come from different disciplinary areas e.g. epidemiology, health system, social sciences, development studies.
You will make significant contributions to designing, conducting and disseminating research on forced displacement and refugee health. The post holder will work within a global context and use multidisciplinary approaches in research. You will also contribute to teaching on masters’ programmes and supervising PhD and master’s students.
The successful candidate will have excellent research skills including research on health system and health system governance in humanitarian settings. In addition, the post holder will show analytic expertise, and communication skills, plus the ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. You will join the Department of International Public Health (DIPH) that hosts a vibrant social science and applied health and systems research community that has innovative research and equitable partnership at its core, with ethos of co-creation of research, translation of knowledge into practice, mentoring, training and capacity strengthening.
