Description:

The School of Health Sciences is part of a highly successful and vibrant faculty. Frequently commended for our partnership working across the sector, the school delivers a range of undergraduate and post graduate courses leading to registration in nursing, midwifery, and allied healthcare professions. The University is currently investing over £3 million in the development of state-of-the-art simulation centres, which will further enhance our record of teaching innovation.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced registered midwife as maternity cover to support our team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who has ambition to develop as a midwifery educator and academic, having developed teaching and assessing skills through a mentorship/practice assessor role or equivalent. You will play a key role in supporting the team with teaching and learning across our midwifery provision. You will also be able to develop your skills working within Higher Education.
