Description:

The University of Liverpool seeks to appoint a permanent, full-time Lecturer in Music Technology and the Music Industry (1FTE).
You will teach modules focussed in the Music Industry, whilst also being required to teach practical, creative and academic aspects of Music Technology, such as studio skills, composition of electronic or multimedia music, and industry-standard software and professional practice. You will be able to draw on experience of the music industry in professional and/or academic contexts in order to teach on relevant undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will undertake a mixture of dissertation supervision, classroom teaching, studio-based teaching, and individual project supervision across undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including with research students where appropriate.
This is a Teaching & Scholarship (T&S) post. However, consideration will be given to appointing on the Teaching & Research (T&R) career path for candidates who can demonstrate the relevant criteria.
You will have a Master¿s Degree in Music or a related subject (or relevant qualifications or professional experience).
Ideally, you will be able to take up the post by 1 September 2024
