Our Atlanta office has an immediate opening for a Legal Administrative Assistant in the Real Estate Development practice group, supporting the Real Estate practice group.
Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience to support a team of Real Estate Practice Group attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be familiar with the process of preparing engagement letters, entering attorney time entries, organizing calendars, organizing travel, organizing meetings, issuing title insurance, preparing closing statements using Qualia or other closing software, searching public records for lien, bankruptcy, judgment and litigation filings, filing documents and real estate records, running advertisements, organizing closing binders, forming companies, ordering title exams.
- Must be familiar with deeds and working with secretary of state processes and procedures.
- Work closely with paralegals on a variety of tasks to support the team.
- Provide administrative support, i.e., time entry, new business intake, zoom calls, Microsoft outlook calendar management, expense reports, filing, travel reservations, meeting scheduling.
- Posses strong organizational skills, be able to work in a team setting and have the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at a time; exhibit meticulous attention to detail; handle confidential and sensitive information.
