What you will need to bring to the role from day one:

  • The successful candidate will be highly motivated and should possess a Law Degree/GDL, postgraduate qualifications (LPC, CILEX, or SQE) and relevant legal support experience.
  • Experience in working in commercial contracts.
  • Data protection knowledge (desirable).
  • Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
  • Flexible and self-motivated, you’ll take the initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities
  • Great communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good IT/Computer skills. MS Office including Excel and Outlook & experience of database entry

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting development opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the in-house legal department at Sunbelt Rentals. As our Legal Administrator, you will be crucial to our continued success by playing a key role in all in-house legal duties.

The role will entail:

  • Provide accurate, timely, efficient and professional administrative support to the Legal Team.
  • Review, assess and process requests for legal support and other communications.
  • Provide assistance with commercial contract drafting, reviews, negotiation.
  • Assist in dealing with data protection matters.
  • Ensure that legal files are kept up to date.
  • Providing support to the Legal Team when negotiating contractual terms with customers and suppliers.
  • Providing support to the Legal Team when dealing with external counsel.
  • Providing support to the Legal Team and developing relationships with other colleagues within the business.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days office based.
