Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic Legal Administrator to join the in-house legal team at a renowned UK real estate company. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of legal administrative matters, including liaising with external counsel, assisting with company secretarial matters, and general real estate matters. The successful candidate will be comfortable supporting senior executives and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
As a Legal Administrator, you will play an integral role within the in-house team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Typing, generating, amending and printing Word, Excel and other documents for the Legal team as required
- Scanning, filing and re-naming documents into the document management system and ensuring compliance with document retention requirements
- Arranging Board packs including collating materials from different business units, drafting of agenda, circulating materials to directors
- Drafting Board minutes and agendas for monthly meetings with external counsel
- Responding to customer enquiries, including liaising with external counsel and managing agents
- Assisting with general real estate matters, including reviewing plans and Land Registry title information
- Identifying and implementing processes to improve team effectiveness
- Assisting with supplier audits and dealing with annual compliance renewals
- Organising training across business; Assisting with diary management/set-up of meetings
