Description:

ABOUT JUSTICE CONNECT

In the face of rising levels of unmet legal need, Justice Connect designs and delivers high impact interventions to increase access to legal support and progress social justice. At Justice Connect, we believe in a fair and just world, where people and communities are supported to engage with and fully participate in our legal and social systems and avoid the negative impacts on their wellbeing or organisational health that flow from unresolved legal problems.
From preventing homelessness and providing legal support to disaster-affected communities, to helping not-for-profit organisations navigate complex regulatory requirements, we work across different areas of law through our multi-channel and multi-intensity legal services and network of 10,000 pro bono lawyers.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE IN THE ROLE

In this role, you’ll work to:

  • Provide ongoing support in relation to Justice Connect’s case management platform, Dynamics, ensuring maintenance of accurate records and files, and supporting the continued implementation of the Seniors Law team’s transition to a more centralised client intake process.
  • Under the supervision of Justice Connect’s Seniors Law Manager, contribute to and coordinate Seniors Law’s data reporting for funders, projects, communications, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support project evaluation-based tasks, such as developing and maintaining data frameworks, data collection and analysis, and contributing to the identification of trends across the organisation (including in terms of our multi-channel, multi-intensity legal supports).
  • Contribute to the wider service delivery and administration of Seniors Law, including by coordinating incoming and outgoing communications, arranging meetings & taking minutes, and assisting to organise training and events as required.

A WEEK IN THIS ROLE

If you were here last week, you would have:

  • Participated in team meetings, including sending meeting invites, preparation of agenda, contribution to discussion at meetings, and minute-taking.
  • Provided support to staff in use of Dynamics to ensure recording of accurate, consistent service delivery data.
  • Entered data to Data Exchange (DeX) a reporting platform used by one of our key government funders.
  • Produced service data reports for our health partners by analysing, interpreting and collating Seniors Law data and qualitative insights.
  • Contributed to ideas to celebrate a Seniors Law team member’s birthday and attended a hybrid (online/in-person) catch up with the team to mark the occasion.
