Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
This role will see you supporting one new Partner, a Senior Associate, and a Lawyer who specialise in family law. Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Opening & archiving matters;
- Document production (court documents, estate planning documents, correspondence);
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills;
- Managing fee earners WIP (billable time);
- Maintaining client confidence by keeping client/fee earner information confidential; and
- Billing.
There are 3 additional admins and a paralegal in this team so a great opportunity to focus on more Legal tasks.
To be considered for this role you will have at least 3 years proven experience working in a legal assistant position, ideally within Family Law. In addition to this you will have:
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Motivated and take initiative;
- Bubbly and want to get involved in team activities;
- Excellent verbal and written communication; and
- Ability to work under deadlines
