Responsibilities:

The firm is currently offering an exciting opportunity for 2highly skilled administration-focused Legal Assistants to join the Secretarial Team in the Sydney Office. This role involves providing essential administrative support to multiple fee earners within the Corporate and Finance, Projects, and Real Estate practice groups. As an integral part of a collaborative team, the Legal Assistant will contribute to achieving collective firm goals by understanding the impact of the secretarial function. Collaboration with peers is essential to delivering exceptional service in this dynamic environment.

  • Word processing, document preparation, and drafting correspondence.
  • Proficient use of Excel.
  • Understanding of billing and expense claims functions.
  • Ability to manage competing demands.
  • Both paper and electronic filing.
  • Attention to detail and organizational pride.
  • Liaising with internal and external clients as required.
  • Entering client details into a contacts database.
  • Creating new client matter files, closing, and archiving client matter files.
  • General administrative tasks, including filing, printing, scanning, and photocopying.
