WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
To guarantee your success in this busy role, you will need to have similar experience as a Legal Assistant in a transactional practice group, and be well organised and methodical in your approach to your work. You will have a strong ‘can-do’ attitude, the ability to think on your feet and strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Please Note: This opportunity is tailored for an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal seeking a long-term commitment to their legal support career and therefore is not suitable for law students or recent graduates.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing sale and purchase documents;
- Conducting online searches such as PPSR, ASIC and Title searches;
- Drafting legal correspondence;
- Email and calendar management for your fee earners;
- Scanning, compiling and proof-reading contracts;
- Electronic billing and reporting; and
- General administrative tasks
