This new opportunity is suited to an experienced ‘career’ Legal Assistant with no less than 5 years of experience in a family law practice. This role will see you providing all aspects of practice management support to two highly regarded Partners, both of which are Accredited Family Law Specialists. Each day will bring something different to your role. As the successful Legal Assistant that you are, this role will also offer you the chance to assume some paralegal responsibilities at times. Your role will conclude:
- Preparing legal correspondence, court documents and briefs;
- Client liaison, managing appointments, meeting deadlines;
- Diary management and travel coordination when required;
- Billing and file management; and
- Fielding telephone calls and assisting with client queries
