EXPERIENCE

As the successful candidate, you will have prior experience in an administrative role within the legal industry, with a keen desire to pursue a career in this space.

You will also demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external parties;
  • An ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines;
  • Impeccable attention to detail;

  • Strong technical skills and understanding of software applications.

Responsibilities:

Due to growth within the team, we are recruiting for an energetic and enthusiastic Legal Assistant.

While each day will be different, key elements of the role will include:

  • Secretarial support for high volume general administrative tasks;
  • Word processing, typing and amending documents and correspondence;
  • Day to day filing, scanning, copying and saving of emails and legal documents;
  • Taking messages accurately and directing through to appropriate channels;
  • Diary management for authors, including booking meetings either in person or virtually;
  • Domestic travel arrangements;
  • Processing of credit card reconciliation and reimbursements;
  • File opening and closing; and
  • Time entry, monthly billing and reporting including client-specific reporting and uploading of invoices to portals.
