Description:

Ambition are working with a well-established law firm with their recruitment for an experienced Legal Biller. This is great opportunity to join an established billing team within their Cheltenham office, offering hybrid working and a competitive salary.

Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the key duties will include;

  • Attend billing meetings with partners and Revenue Controllers, where appropriate, to take instruction and prepare invoices for review by partners.
  • Raise Credit Notes in accordance with policy.
  • Writing off irrecoverable WIP and Disbursements in accordance with policies.
  • Client & Matter data maintenance, including time amends/transfers/write offs, time splits, rate’s and discounts.
  • Ensure bills are finalised and despatched to the partner and PA promptly.
  • Respond to all billing related queries promptly.

Successful candidates will have previously worked in a similar role ideally within a law firm and have proven billing experience. Previous working knowledge of Aderant system is preferred.
