JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Admission to the Singapore Bar with at least 2 years of experience gained in-house or with a law firm.
  • Relevant experience working on coporate M&A transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to adapt to changing needs and ways of working.
  • Proven track record of handling corporate governance matters for a Group structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support to the Senior Management and the business.
  • Assist with entity set-up in multiple jurisdictions and support M&A activities, venture investments, joint ventures, and other strategic partnerships when required.
  • Provide advice on regulatory matters and a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
  • Design, review and put into place contracts, agreements or policies to manage and mitigate legal risks.
  • Provide training to staff on laws and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory regulations in the jurisdictions where the company operates.
  • Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the company.
