D2X is looking for a Legal & Compliance Intern to join its office in Amsterdam!

D2X will be the first pan-European derivatives exchange for digital assets. Thanks to our regulatory-first approach, reliable trading interface and robust risk management, D2X will bridge the gap between Tech and Finance to facilitate the adoption of digital assets for institutions. D2X is focused on providing the safest infrastructure to accelerate the development of the asset class. Our ambition is to become the leading market infrastructure for digital assets, first in Europe and then across more geographies and asset classes.

We are seeking candidates who are ambitious, have a strong desire to continuously learn, and have a strong interest in financial markets. The ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask, work independently, be flexible and work well within a global environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Min. Bachelor’s degree, Master is preferred in Law;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch;
• Previous internships and/or paralegal experience are a plus;
• Pragmatic, attentive to details, eager to learn. You show responsiveness, organization, and analytical spirit. You have great social skills that will promote your integration;
• A positive attitude with a can-do approach;
• A strong interest in cryptocurrency and digital assets;
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands;
• Available for 40 hours per week.

• Assist with the onboarding and review process of clients (Members);
• Ensuring that all Member-related information of the existing and future Members is up to date, including periodic checks and risk assessments;
• Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts and engagement letters;
• Contract management and keeping our corporate governance files up to date;
• Assist with implementation of (new) regulation (e.g. (market) conduct rules).
  Next to the above mentioned, you will also get the chance to be involved in other legal and compliance topics depending on the timing of your internship and your own interests.
