Our client is a Financial Institution looking to recruit a Legal and Compliance Officer to support and advise on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters.
about the job
- Provide support on a broad range of topics related to the Payment Service Act, including licensing, compliance, and data privacy
- Interpret legislation and assist with implementation of the regulatory framework
- Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on legal issues in relation to the business activities
- Draft, review and negotiate on agreements and contracts and other documents
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments and update on any material impact to the business
skills and experience required
- Bachelors of law degree
- Experience in financial regulation, financial services or Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) is highly valuable
- Willing to learn, adaptable, and detailed-oriented
