WHO YOU ARE

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with high quality post qualification experience in commercial law.
• University honours degree (second class or better)
• Good time management skills with ability to prioritise and manage demanding workload
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience as a consumer lawyer in private practice or in house ideally in the technology, media or telecommunications industry.
• Experience in advising on consumer law and regulation in the UK would be helpful, but not essential, as would a general understanding of any of privacy, advertising codes, content distribution, e-commerce, consumer credit, payments and intellectual property laws.
• Motivated, self-starter who is ready to go the extra mile and has a desire to expand their knowledge and skills.
• Excellent communicator with a professional approach and an ability to communicate complex issues in a

Providing legal support to Vodafone’s consumer business unit, focussing on Pay as You Go and Voxi, with opportunities to support on other projects, such as Network and Roaming.

• To work with the Consumer legal team to deliver excellent legal advice and support to the Consumer Business Unit in Vodafone UK.
• Collaborating effectively with other parts of the UK Legal team and the Group Legal team.
• Being the key legal point of contact for new projects, and overseeing projects from inception through to launch.
• Reviewing and approving consumer facing advertising and pivotal brand campaigns, which play a key part in Vodafone’s mission of ‘Together we can’.
• Keeping up-to-date with recent legal development and emerging legal issues which could impact Vodafone’s UK operations and advising the business accordingly.
• Being that crucial consumer liaison for stakeholders across the whole business, and building excellent relationships.
