Description:

Be part of an experienced Legal Team and support senior lawyers by providing legal assistance and advice to all AGC European business divisions on various legal matters with a specific focus on:

  • Analyzing, drafting and reviewing a wide variety of national or international contracts and other documents;
  • Taking part in contract or dispute negotiations in close contact with the business;
  • Identifying and reporting legal risks, formulating alternative proposals;
  • Providing legal assistance, assessing and advising on various ad hoc legal matters for all areas of the business;
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of legal templates and increasing the awareness of the business on legal matters.

The geographic scope is Europe and MENA region. Occasional travel may be required.
You will join a team of 8 legal counsels working for AGC Europe S.A., our vehicle for the EU corporate functions in AGC Group.
We are looking for an autonomous and collaborative team member who possesses proven legal competencies, sound judgement and the ability to handle the legal priorities of AGC Europe.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Law with reputable university;
  • Strong academic background;
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience with international context is a plus;
  • Experience in a leading European Law firm is a plus;
  • Strong business awareness;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Fluency in English and French is a must; any other European language is a plus;
  • Dynamic and pragmatic approach to tasks;
  • Result and solution oriented skills.
