Description:
JOB REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree - A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a solid academic record - Required
Admitted to practice (in good standing) in Massachusetts (or another acceptable state) - Required
3 years Experience as an in-house counsel or with a law firm - Required

- Ability to meet deadlines and address multiple assignments in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE
To assist in protecting and enhancing the Company’s legal and business interests, and to negotiate a variety of contracts, and to interface with internal stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide legal advice and business support to the Company as needed in one or more areas of compliance and governance, business development and support, human resources management, and claim and incident resolutions.
- Assist in the mitigation of liability
- Participate on Legal Department teams handling matters of interest to the Company.
- Responsible for drafting and negotiating Company agreements and other instruments.
