This is an interview position.
:
On an assigned basis provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its affiliates to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, provincial and local laws. Provides support to the Legal Counsel (II).
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- LL.B. Degree from an approved Law school.
- Admission to the Ontario Bar.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation, human relations and communications skills.
- In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English
- Standard level of proficiency in MS Office—Word, Outlook ; PowerPoint
- Basic level of proficiency in MS Office—Excel
