Responsibilities:

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

As Legal Counsel, your primary responsibilities involve assisting and advising in relation to existing projects as well as development projects within corporate and commercial law areas, such as contract law, general corporate law, IP law, construction law, and lease and property law. You should have a genuine interest in developing your understanding of the Nature Energy way of doing business and our products and a desire to bring your legal competencies into play in a way that best supports the business.
You will primarily be working independently, however, in larger projects, you will be working in cooperation with other members of the legal team as well as external legal counsels. In undertaking the various tasks, you will interact with a wide number of stakeholders across Nature Energy’s organization.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF

You have sound experience with advising multiple stakeholders, negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial contracts and handling many different tasks simultaneously. You are comfortable providing advice to all parts of the business, including to senior management. You may have experience working on projects in the energy sector but this is not a requirement.
You have a Danish law degree (Cand.jur. or Cand.merc.jur.) and 5-7 years post-graduation experience from working as in-house legal counsel in a larger organization or as a lawyer in a law firm with a focus on corporate and commercial.
You are fluent in English (both written and spoken). As Nature Energy has increased activities in France, proficiency in French is an advantage.
It is important for you to be part of a closely connected team and contribute to keeping the trustful and supportive environment in our unique team.
