Description:
Our Client
Our client is a REITs Firm and they are now seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their team in Singapore.
The Role
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise internal stakeholders and negotiate with external counterparts on a variety of commercial agreements, including third party agreements, operations agreements, services agreements, partnerships, and marketing agreements
- Develop and implement processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding contract negotiation and processes
- Develop and maintain precedent agreements, contract management systems, and other databases
- Identify and advise on legal risks in connection with the development of new products
- Organize and conduct periodic compliance reviews pertaining to the Financial Advisors Act, MAS Notices and Guidelines.
- Develop/review policies and procedures including manuals on local regulations
- To assist in MAS reporting and notification.
- Maintain regulatory relationship with MAS and respond to queries from MAS
- Assist Compliance Manager on all regulatory compliance matters to discharge duties as and when required.
- Liaise with internal/external auditors on regulatory matters.
To Qualify
- Full-Time position(s) available.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
- Admission to the Commonwealth Bar / LLB is a must
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- In-house legal experience is a plus
