Description:

Our Client
Our client is a REITs Firm and they are now seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their team in Singapore.

The Role

  • Draft, review, negotiate and advise internal stakeholders and negotiate with external counterparts on a variety of commercial agreements, including third party agreements, operations agreements, services agreements, partnerships, and marketing agreements
  • Develop and implement processes for efficient and streamlined operations surrounding contract negotiation and processes
  • Develop and maintain precedent agreements, contract management systems, and other databases
  • Identify and advise on legal risks in connection with the development of new products
  • Organize and conduct periodic compliance reviews pertaining to the Financial Advisors Act, MAS Notices and Guidelines.
  • Develop/review policies and procedures including manuals on local regulations
  • To assist in MAS reporting and notification.
  • Maintain regulatory relationship with MAS and respond to queries from MAS
  • Assist Compliance Manager on all regulatory compliance matters to discharge duties as and when required.
  • Liaise with internal/external auditors on regulatory matters.

To Qualify

  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
  • Admission to the Commonwealth Bar / LLB is a must
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • In-house legal experience is a plus
