We have an exciting opportunity with our client in Ottawa! They are looking for a Legal Counsel with 2-4 years of health law and litigation experience.

Key Responsibilities
Provision of legal information, advice, and support to healthcare professionals in connection with issues arising from their professional practice
Review and analysis of legal documents
Provision of advice and ongoing support to healthcare professionals involved in litigation and legal proceedings
Strategic management of the conduct of litigation and legal proceedings across Canadian jurisdictions
Documentation of legal services in accordance with applicable standards and employer policies
Law degree from an accredited university
License to practice law in one of the Canadian reciprocating provinces under the National Mobility Agreement
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience practicing health law and civil litigation
License to practice law in one of the Canadian reciprocating provinces under the National Mobility Agreement.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Highly developed analytical skills, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Ability and willingness to relocate to Ottawa
