Legal Counsel /Senior Legal Counsel

Our client a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors is seeking a legal counsel to join it’s growing legal team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Ideally a minimum of 5-8years PQE gained either from a renowned private practice or In-house organisation
Experience in advising on complex transactions, with exposure to project delivery issues
In-depth understanding of construction law and contracts
Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts
Proven ability to manage competing deadlines
A pro-active and commercial approach to projects and work loads.

Responsibilities:
Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including transport, renewables and resources
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market
Providing advice on contractual dispute resolution procedures
