WHO YOU ARE
- A Master of Laws
- 1-4 years of relevant experience from a payment services company and/or a commercial law firm is preferred
- Passionate about the payment industry
- Excellent English and Swedish language skills
- Driven and curious with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn on the job
- Sound judgment and ability to organize your work efficiently in a fast-paced working environment

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Legal Counsel - Regulatory and Commercial - you will be part of a dynamic and senior team providing expertise to the product & tech and commercial teams in all things involving payment services regulation and commercial contracts. You will provide support to the senior legal team and in your role you will in time develop into a professional in legal risk assessment, keeping presence of mind in complex and urgent situations and giving knowledgeable recommendations to decision-makers across the whole organization. The position is based in Stockholm.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Safeguard the regulatory licenses of Trustly, including manage the relationships with the regulators with care and diligence
- Interpret payment services regulation, including AML/CFT regulations, translating this into meaningful and useful information for the product & tech team when it is designing innovative and human-centric payment products
- Support the commercial team in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Support the organization in solution-oriented handling of various legal issues
