With Visier’s continued growth we are in need of a dynamic Legal Counsel who possesses calculated business acumen, a passion for details, and comprehensive contract management experience to join the highly collaborative Legal team.
Reporting to the Vice President- Legal, you’ll be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams throughout Visier with the principal goal of driving revenue growth, assisting in compliance and technology initiatives, and supporting Visier’s global expansion efforts.
This is a hybrid role, based in-office Tues - Thurs at our global HQ in Yaletown with Mon & Fri, flexible.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating, formulating, and executing on growth-impacting deals of varying complexity, including with some of the largest customer and partner organizations around the world
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Privacy, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Governance, Risk and Compliance, to harmonize risk tolerance, manage compliance expectations, and set a pro-growth directive bound by appropriate safeguards
  • Serve in an expert role in relation to Visier’s customer contract negotiations and expanding vendor and partner portfolio through various initiatives targeted at optimizing and accelerating Visier’s growth
  • Support research and product expansion initiatives
  • Counsel on general corporate business matters, including employment relations across Visier’s global workforceAssist in Visier’s global expansion efforts, as Visier looks to move beyond its core North American operations
  • Operate with relative autonomy as a trusted partner and advisor
