Legal Officer: Civil Litigation, Debt Management and Debt Recovery

Career Graded Post 7/8/9: £30,296 to £44,428 dependent on experience.
An exciting opportunity to join a friendly in-house legal team to provide legal advice to the Council with particular focus on work arising from Civil Litigation, in particular debt and contract management relating to Adult Social Care and generally.

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:

• have a law degree or equivalent
• a qualified solicitor, barrister or Filex or someone seeking to qualify
• ideally with local government experience
• knowledge within the areas of civil litigation and debt management will be advantageous
• ability to work within a team
• possess good communication skills
