ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a Federal Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking a Coordinator or Administrator with previous experience working in Legal, Policy and HR /Recruitment to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment.

About the role:

  • HR and recruitment coordination including onboarding and off boarding of perm and contractor staff
  • Email inbox management and coordination
  • Stakeholder engagement - both internal and external
  • Administration tasks for the team including program and activity coordination
  • Document preparation including general correspondence, briefs, policies and strategic documents
  • Policy administration duties as required

About you:

  • You will have a high attention to detail
  • You will have strong time management and organisation skills
  • You will be flexible to work in fast paced, ever changing environment
  • You will have previous administration skills working in a HR or recruitment capacity
  • You will have previous experience working with legal documents and government policies
  • You will have intermediate to advanced IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint

Benefits:

  • ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
  • 12 month temporary assignment
  • Full time hours Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day
  • Brisbane location
  • $55.24 per hour + super
