Description:
For the DC Office of an International Law Firm
Responsibilities include:
- Support the firm’s US law school outreach strategy – work closely with the US recruiting team to ensure the firm is well represented at law schools across the country;
- Coordinate law student screening and callback interviews, collect interview feedback;
- Work closely with the recruiting committee with respect to Summer Program offer decisions, managing yield on offers and assembling a summer class that represents a diverse array of law schools and individuals;
- Coordinate the planning of the annual summer associate program including an eclectic events and training calendar;
- Collect and review lateral candidate materials and distribute to hiring managers across practice areas as appropriate;
- Coordinate lateral interview logistics including but not limited to sending confirmation emails, calendaring meetings, setting up video links and/or making conference room reservations, preparation of materials;
Qualifications include:
- 2-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment;
- Possesses the ability to work independently and be proactive;
- Must be a team player and exercise good judgment;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail;
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
