US Legal Recruitment Consultant - Manchester, hybrid working
We are delighted to announce this fantastic opportunity to join our growing US Legal Recruitment team!
Already the largest legal recruitment firm in the UK, we are targeting rapid growth in our recently established US team, and are looking for an entrepreneurial and ambitious consultant to help us deliver on prestigious mandates in the New York legal market.
The most active legal market in the world, New York City has more attorneys than the whole of the UK combined, and is home to most of the top 500 law firms on the planet. It is a competitive market for sure, but the pay-offs are exceptional with average fees in the 40K-50K range, in an environment that is very welcoming to recruiters.
Working alongside our US team Director, you will ideally possess a good understanding of the legal sector, paired with a track record of successful recruitment experience. Adept at networking and relationship building, you will work with both clients and candidates, ensuring a bespoke and highly consultative service. Strong communication skills are a pre-requisite, as is an inquisitive and challenger mindset.
There are significant opportunities for progression in this role as it is an early hire in what is anticipated to be a sizeable business in the future.

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruitment
  • A comprehensive understanding of the legal sector is desirable for this role, preferably with a focus on the US market, however we’d also love to speak to recruiters from other professional services sectors looking for an exciting new challenge
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and social media for talent sourcing
